I went to my first yoga class way back in the early 90s and became hooked on how yoga made me feel both physically and mentally.
I learnt yoga is a great way to let go of stress and bring attention to ourselves through breath and movement.
No matter how stressful life gets yoga enables you to focus on being present in body and mind.
All of my yoga teachers have inspired me to teach others yoga. Back in the 90's I remember thinking I will never have the confidence or the money to become a fully fledged teacher, Training is expensive and I dedicate time each week to prepare lesson plans for every class to ensure every client is taken care of.
Little did I know that years later I would finally take the plunge and train to become a yoga teacher. Now I work full-time during the day and teach community classes in the evenings.
