BACKGROUND
I went to my first yoga class way back in the early 90s and became hooked on how good yoga made me feel both physically and mentally. I have learnt yoga is a great way to let go of the day and bring attention to ourselves through breath and movement. No matter how stressful life gets yoga enables you to focus on how you're body and mind feel while letting go of everything else which may be going on in life. All of my teachers back in the 90s when I first started attending classes inspired me to want to become a yoga teacher, but at that time I remember thinking I will never have the confidence or the money to become a fully fledged teacher. Little did I know that years later I would finally take the plunge and train to become a yoga teacher. Now I work full-time during the day and teach community classes in the evenings.
